With an MBA in Marketing and International Business, an undergraduate degree in Psychology focusing on social psychology), a Certificate in Social Media Management, and extensive training in creative writing I’ve got a well-rounded background academically to help you and our organization find and share your story. I’m always keeping in mind the business case and marketing considerations including your target audience, appropriate messages, and the specific calls to action that will increase awareness, engagement, and sales of your product or service. I’m a life-long learner,  continuously taking courses in my wide range of interests and sharing what I learn with my clients and followers.

I’ve had extensive industry experience with a focus on B2B, but also in B2C and P2P. For more details about the specific jobs I have done when formally employed, check out work history in my open LinkedIn Profile.  I’ve worked at various levels including senior management roles in: sales, marketing, advertising, writing, and editing, social media management, website management, event management, and customer relationship management. My work experience has covered many industries including: steel fabricating, telecommunications, publishing, eCommerce research, and not-for-profit associations.

Several years ago, like many experienced mid-career professionals, I found myself unemployed due to a restructuring in the not-for-profit association where I’d worked for five years. After exploring progressive career options I decided that I wanted to explore my passions for writing, photography, and social marketing on a freelance basis working from a home-based office. I have never looked back and am pleased to have the flexibility to offer my services on a contract, freelance, and project basis for either consulting projects or more hands-on coaching and training.
