Ontario web video producers have your say in IWCC-CWCC Survey

According to the Independent Web Series Creators of Canada (IWCC-CWCC), a not for profit association based in Toronto, Canada is the world’s largest consumer of online videos. If you are creating online videos (web series, video blogs “vlogs”, or web shows) make sure your voice is heard so that you can help  influence the direction of this growing industry.

IWCC-CIWC  is gathering important information on this industry for the first time through the “Profile of the Ontario-based Web Series Industry” survey being conducted independently on their behalf by Nordicity and funded by the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC). They hope to build on the success of this research to develop its national equivalent in the near future.

So, here is what you need to do:

1. Watch this short YouTube video (It includes a link to the survey)

2. Complete the online survey. (You can skip the video if you wish.)

3. Share this post – especially with any independent web video producers in Ontario[  discuss on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. using #IWCCProfile

Whether you’re an established, award-winning producer  (or like me, just starting out), please help support the industry and the association by completing the survey.  It took me about 20 minutes to complete the survey.

After the research results are compiled (all privacy is fully maintained) by Nordicity (all privacy is fully-maintained),  IWCC-CIWC will be publishing the aggregate results.

Thanks for your support. Your voice will help everyone involved in this field in Ontario, and eventually across Canada.
